Working File: A working file is a copy of the car file for a specific lease number. The system will create a file using the first three positions of the lease number plus a sequencial number following that. The working file is always the lease number that you will be updating. This could be a lease that you are editing in some way, or a new lease that you will be moving cars to.

All working files are created in a sub directory of your lease file. The sub directory is called DATA. So, if you installed the program in a file called LEASE then the working files would be in the directory LEASE\DATA
