Overview:

Mars for the 21st Century is a unique program that will manage all your repairs. This system will create customer profiles, invoices, statements, detail billing repair cards, group billing, data exchange files and much more.

Reports can be either detailed or summarized. All reports can be viewed, printed or save in various formats, including pdf files. There is a complete status reporting program that segregates repairs by Owner, Rule 95, Projects and Pool repairs. The status report will automatically show all cars by the repair category segregating those by In Transit, In Shop and Released in the last 30 days. At the bottom of the detail report, all turn around times as well as other statistical information is displayed.

This program was created so that it could be used by either shops or railroads. The program will bill using full AAR Charges or discounted charges based on your customer profile.

The program is setup in a logical order. Before you can create a billing repair card, you must have a customer in the Rolodex file. Before you can give a discount to a customer, you must designate the discount in the Customer Profile. This tour will show you the process in creating a billing repair card and invoicing.

You can define group billing repairs, creat JIC's directly from the billing repair card, manage complete inventory, use AAR Job Codes, NitLeague Job Codes, Default User Job Codes or Job Codes for a specific customer. You can even create customer specific price masters. The system will allow you to create templates or repairs that can be used for projects or anything else. You may change responsible company initials for any line of repair on a billing repair card or quote estimate. The system has a generic import program for handheld systems that will audit the repairs. Once the handheld audit is completed, the system will only allow you to move the data after all errors displayed are corrected or the line of repair that is in error is deleted. As you go through this tour, you will see that there are many more features that are available to you and your company.
